Installing on Windows

Windows builds are currently unsigned while our Trusted Signing validation is in review, so SmartScreen will warn on first install:

  1. Run the downloaded Sovren-Setup-*.exe
  2. On “Windows protected your PC”, click More info
  3. Click Run anyway
  4. Optional: verify the file against the sha256 shown on its download card (Get-FileHash in PowerShell)

Signed Windows builds ship as soon as the certificate clears; installed copies pick it up through automatic updates.

Governed, by design

The desktop agent pairs with your account, works only inside the file and command scopes you grant, asks before it changes anything, and seals every action to a tamper-evident ledger. Revoke a device from any surface and it is done.

Always current

The app checks for updates in the background and offers a one-click restart when a new release lands.
